This morning when we went to church, we were also sending Parker off to camp for the first time! The camp is only for incoming 5th & 6th graders. They are going to Camp Carolina Creek in Huntsville (about an hour and a half North). Parker and the kids will be back hom on Thursday afternoon. Parker has not stayed a night away from us since we have been down here! He was so excited, we are excited for him too, just nervous. I am nervous he is going to get homesick. I am so excited for him because it is church camp and church camp is always fun. We wrote him letters to receive each day and I tucked notes in his Bible for him to find, mainly reminders!This is Parker with his buddy, Koen. Koen went to his first overnight camp earlier this year, so he is all prepared.
